Carving Glyphs in Bluestone

After a hesitant start, cutting lines into stone felt natural. It surprised me how much the stone speaks for itself, leading the direction of the design by how it resists or guides the chisel.

Bluestone seems to chip quite a lot and I wonder how different granites will react to being cut.

It's heavy going, I will need to think carefully about the size and complexity of the glyphs - though I like that the difficulty of the process is going to force me to keep the glyphs simple; the meaning compacted.
